Sometimes when you find changing your lifestyle hard, technology can make it easier for you. I have used and still use a few apps to help me with my weight loss and here are the three apps I use.
A lot of people have asked me how I have managed to lose weight. Weight loss as you might have heard before, is mainly diet. MyFitnessPal is an app I have used from day 1 and has helped me keep track ever since.
I have tried other calorie trackers at the same time, to see if I would be better off using them instead. But hands down, MyFitnessPal is the best calorie counter I have come across so far.
First, you have to enter a few details in, e.g. your current weight and goal weight. Depending on what you have entered, the app will tell you what your daily calorie goal should be. Then you are ready to keep track of your calories!
If you have read my previous posts, you might know that I bought myself the Fitbit Charge 2 back in December 2016. You don’t necessarily need to buy the exact same one. You can get cheaper versions or trackers which are a bit more expensive, as well.
I found it easier to get the app with it as it helps you understand how active you have been using diagrams. It’s very interactive and motivates you to be more active. You just have to make sure that you sync your tracker with the app at least every other day.
I know… Not really a fitness or health app, but music plays a key role when you want to work out. If you work out a lot, you will eventually get bored of your usual playlist. Spotify opens you the door to more music. They even have playlists for workouts. Just go to browse, click on Genres & Moods, Running, then any playlist you want, and the music will match with your tempo!
If you want more information on any of the above mentioned apps, let me know and I will write a detailed post on any of them!
